Seniors...
This month has been a pretty crazy month between the kids going back to school, having to create a 60 page ad program for football and State Survey at work, I am completely wiped. Even so.. my mind is stirring.. Debating on if I should switch out of the medical field or go back to school for social work my main focus on elder care. I really enjoy working with Seniors and so many of todays Seniors are not provied the support, respect and care from their families. At many times they are just forgotten about and causes such bad depression and failure to thrive for the elderly generation. As the cost of living goes up, the economy goes down.. our retired Seniors are still collecting limited income from social security. Over the past several years I have seen more Seniors starting to struggle more drastically. They are not able to afford basic needs. At times I have seen them struggle with decisions as to if they should buy needed medications, food or pay utility bills. Its very sad and they need help.. Many seniors are placed in Long term living facilities and are left with nothing. Even tho they are provided with all daily living needs, many do not have much clothing. I see this on a routine basis. Im on a mission- This month I will be focusing' on getting clothing donations for our older generation so they have warmer clothing in the upcoming months. I am looking for donations for New or gently Used clothing, pants, shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, sweaters, undergarmets, pajamas, socks, shoes/sneakers. Any size and all sizes would be greatly appreciated!

Jaryts youtube site
My son has a page on youtube that he uploads his videos and mods for video games.. He also post tutorials on how to mod.. Unfortunatly the choice of the song he has on there is really not appropriate due to language but it was made by someone else for the games he mods.. Im not going to complain about it tho.. Just as long he isnt running the streets and doesnt talk like that.. Im more impressed with his talents..

Aspergers is his gift...
.
My 12 year old son who is a major computer whiz and video game junky completely amazes me. Being diagnosed with PDD/NOS when he was 3 and then to Aspergers specific- There is nothing this kid really cannot do. Since he was a toddler, he has always been on a computer. At 2 yrs old- he was obsessed with “Blue’s Clue’s”. Dressing in the same clothes Steve wore from the stripped green shirt, down to the khaki pants.. and of course - calling our dog - "Blue" When Steve was leaving, my son got a little upset.. not because he Steve was going to college- but because we couldn't find "Joe's" clothes in the stores..Needless to say..when I went into the kitchen to make lunch, my son climbed up onto the computer.. which wasn’t unusual since he would play games- but I left the internet on and sure enough, he found the outfit online.. That should have been my first "Clue" that he would be a computer genius. Now 10 years later- we are lucky if we can get him to leave the house without his computer.
Enjoying video games, creating games online, and modifying other games to different levels..
I am just truly amazed by his intelligence. So of course.. the proud mom that I am.. I would be posting some of his videos he posts on youtube and stuff to share with the world :)
